Julie Lascelles
It started off promisingly enough - modern languages at Oxford Poly and then four years in the international department at Virgin Records in the days when the company was small enough for everyone to go on a weekend away in one hotel! Then there came a long gap before Julie joined GS in March 2000.
However, her role as domestic goddess and controller of children has prepared her amply for her role at GS where she keeps a beady eye on everyone to make sure we all toe the line.
Julie organises the seminars and the occasional courses which GS runs and keeps the office ticking over in the most efficient way possible. But her main passion is recycling about which she tends to display rather OCD tendencies - which part of 'stop printing so much stuff' is tricky to understand!
Oh, and she has a shopping trolley for which she gets a lot of stick.
