Rob Kitchen
Creative
After graduating from the Royal College of Art with an MA in graphic design, Rob became an advertising art director working for Leo Burnett, FCO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Still Price Lintas, CDP and Bates UK, among others, winning a number of awards along the way. He was promoted to creative director at three of these agencies, with departments of up to 26 sensitive creative egos to manage.
Convinced that the digital world is where the future lies, Rob joined GS in January 2006 handling permanent roles for designers, art directors and copywriters at all levels up to CD.
Two and a half years later and with a home in Falmouth, Rob has now joined the teaching staff of the MA Creative Advertising course at Falmouth Art College for three days a week. He is continuing to work for GS, mostly on a remote basis, and will be coming up to London every month for meetings, interviews and visits to his old local.
He once saved up and bought a beautiful E-Type Jaguar. Later, he had to sell it to pay off a tax bill. Inside, a little voice occasionally whispers ‘you total prat’.
