So why do people pursue the freelance route, chances are they prefer to be their own boss. Others want to stay light-footed and fancy-free. While another breed likes to trouble-shoot for agencies, called upon to deliver a project or win a pitch.
Our freelance practice is well-established with a great reputation. We receive a broad range of briefs, from longer-term contracts to quick-fix emergency jobs, both in the UK and abroad.
If freelancing appeals to you then please take the time to read the steps below which explain how we work. We’re particularly keen on hearing from people with experience in design and digital.
Step 1
Start by uploading your CV along with a summary of your experience. If you are a creative (designer or writer), please attach some of your work in pdf format. We’ll assess where our client base matches your skills.
Step 2
If we think we can help you, we’ll meet and suggest the best fit among the agencies we work with, giving you the opportunity to research those agencies. We work on live freelance briefs and also with clients who are planning ahead, so if you’re interested in an agency, we’ll follow it through. In return, we prefer to exclusively represent you with certain agencies. If we don't think we can help, we'll be honest with you - saving your time and ours - it's not because you're not talented, you just may not fit the needs of our particular client base.
Step 3
We arrange all interviews and negotiate offers, giving feedback from the agencies. We also make sure that you are clear on your responsibilities as a freelancer.
Step 4
We’ll stay in touch with you to discuss new prospects. We’ll also keep you updated with useful events and developments from our side.
