how we work freelance

For many agencies, employing people on a freelance basis can be an easy-win. You get the talent you need, focused on delivering for a client project. And if everything goes well, the relationship can bloom into a longer-term commitment.

We have a great bank of freelancers who span all ranges of creative disciplines – we know their work well and we also receive feedback from all of our clients.

To us, matching candidates to clients is not just about connecting skills – it’s also about finding the right chemistry. If you have a freelance brief, please read on to see how we work and get in touch!

Step 1

We have an initial conversation regarding the kind of role you need filling: including the level needed; details about your agency and the potential candidate's team.

Step 2

If possible we'll meet to get a feel for your agency as this helps us understand the kind of person you need and the best fit for you.  At this stage, we present our credentials and take a brief for the role if we've not already done that by phone.  If necessary, we can help you craft the brief and you can answer any questions we might have to help us make the process smooth.

Step 3

We will put forward candidates that we know will be a good fit, arranging the interviews for you. These will be people we have interviewd thoroughly and whose permission we have gained to represent them with you.  We always ask for feedback, good or bad, as it can help us refine the brief.

Step 4

When things progress to the offer stage, we do all the negotiation between you and the candidate. We also make sure that any candidate, permanent or freelance, is aware of their responsibilities in working with you.
