As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on building a pipeline of leads to generate new business for the Corporate Brands consultancy teams.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for lead generation and:
+ Develop strong relationships with prospective clients via telephone, online and offline networking, leading to new business opportunities
+ Face to face meetings
+ RFI/RFP response
+ Roster appointments
You will also make sure that:
+ Comprehensive records of activity, contacts and communications are logged in CMS
+ Gather knowledge on target sectors and companies
+ Monitor national press, trade and bought-in research tools to update information held on CMS
+ Work closely with the Business Development Director in the development of sector specific mailers, brochures, presentations or PR points of view
Key Knowledge and Experience
+ Telephone sales experience
+ Good understanding of design, innovation and brand strategy
+ Corporate sector knowledge and understanding
+ Naturally tenacious and a self-motivator
+ Excellent communication skills
