Senior Web Developer

Location: SE London
Salary: £45k

An award winning digital agency are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer.

As Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and CMS systems for our clients. You should be passionate about modern server-side technologies and frameworks.

You will be also a key member of the team for front-end development with Web Standards, and should oversee and inspire junior members of the team.

Essential:
+ 5+ years of experience in the field
+ Solid experience with PHP5 with OOP knowledge
+ Database design and code experience with MySQL
+ Experience in development of bespoken CMS and in customization open-source CMS solutions (ie. Drupal and Wordpress)
+ Solid experience developing cross platform/browser high interactive UI with CSS, HTML/XHTML, AJAX (plus an indepth knowledge of a library of choice, better if jQuery)
+ Experience with Accessibility and SEO
+ Experience with shell environments (bash,tcsh etc) and UNIX/Linux administration
+ Confidence and ability to recommend best cost-effective solutions to clients
+ Excellent attention to details and commitment to deliver with love to the highest standards

Desirable:
+ Experience with Test Driven Development
+ Knowledge of ActionScript 3
+ Knowledge of Django or Ruby On Rails
