One of London's most sought-after branding agencies is searching for a new midweight to senior designer with a portfolio brimming over with fabulous packaging projects!

The role is in a relatively small team, working with a talented design director and on a variety of fmcg brands but also getting into some more premium sectors too. Their studio is in central London and a lovely space to work in, and the culture is very down to earth, but also creatively passionate - and demanding of its designers in that they only want to create the best.

They wll only consider designers who have a good level of consumer branding/packaging in their portfolio - they have no time, unfortunately, to help someone from, say, a corporate branding background to move across into packaging. They want to see the ideas behind the work - this is not for stylists, but for designers who start with a big idea, who craft and implement it fabulously well, but who also "get" the commercial context in which it must live and design for that - this is definitely not about having ideas for the sake of it. You must also be able to be articulate about your work - the client, the brand, the audience, the positioning, the values, the competitors, and so on. They need good thinkers - and people who can potentially meet clients as well.

This is a plum role, and this agency doesn't recruit very often!
